Adrenal Support Smoothie

Following the previous post on an Adrenal Support Tea, I thought a smoothie recipe may be in order also. So many people love to start the day with a nourishing quick and easy smoothie.

Adrenal Support Smoothie

1 cup liquid, green tea, rooibos tea, juice or water.
1-2 fresh or frozen bananas
1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, or pineapple.
1 tablespoon maca (Lepidium meyenii)
1/2 teaspoon fresh grated ginger.
A dash of Celtic sea salt, or your favorite salt.
Although optional you can add a little sweetener, honey, cane syrup, brown rice syrup, stevia, agave, maple syrup, whatever you choose.

Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend to the consistency you desire, adding more liquid if needed.

Enjoy and know you are supporting your adrenal system. Maca is known for improving mental function and working with relieving stress.
