Rose Calendula Toner

Rose Calendula Toner, simple, easy and useful. This is an excellent toner all skin types. It can be to potent for some, so if it is too strong for you, you can dilute it with water. Many people also like this blend for acne, varicose veins on your legs, and spider veins on the face.

rose calendula tonerIngredients Needed for Rose Calendula Toner

1 Quart Jar, I like using wide mouth jars.
1/2 quart Rosewater, you can purchase this at any specialty food store or health food store.
1/4 quart Witch Hazel, you can get this at health food stores, drug stores, pharmacies and grocery stores. Or you can make your own, using witch hazel leaves and alcohol, as a tincture. Allow the tincture to steep for 2-3 weeks. This will be a mellow brown color.
1/2 cup Calendula flowers
3 tablespoons Aloe Vera gel
Add all ingredients to the jar, and allow it to steep for 2 weeks. Make sure you gently shake the jar 1-2 times a day. Strain and rebottle.

Rose is soothing to the skin and great for tired, aging and skin that need a perk.

With hazel is a great astringent.

Calendula is nourishing to aging, tired and inflamed skin.

Aloe Vera is soothing for all skin types, and nourishing.
You can bottle into smaller jars and use as gifts for friends and family. Some of my students make a version of this to sell for their businesses and in online market places like etsy, it is that popular.

This rose calendula toner has a lot of uses, you can use it on inflamed, tired and skin that needs a little pick me up.
