Student Spotlight- Oyate Herbals
“Oyate” (pronounced “Oh-Ya-Tay”) is a Lakota word meaning family or tribe. The founder of Oyate Herbals is a traditional Native American woman from the Lakota Nation, a second-generation herbalist, and has over 40 years of experience in Eastern, Western, and Native American herbology.
She has taught at Western State College and several elementary, middle, and High schools throughout Colorado. She is a published author in Woodland Park Living Magazine. She was raised with traditional plant medicines and has been assisting people for many years to live a healthier, more balanced lifestyle without pain, stress, fatigue, and prescription medications.
Encouraged by her friends, family, and other energy-healing clients to market her products to help others, Oyate Herbals was founded.
We have been in business since 2012, and the results have been miraculous!
